The Process
Eight steps from brief to delivery. Your funds are held in escrow the entire time — released to the artist only after the art is approved and tracking is confirmed.
Buyer pays the commission amount plus the platform fee. Funds go immediately into escrow — not to the artist.
Buyer details the commission requirements — subject, references, style, dimensions, and any specific notes.
Artist reviews the brief and commits to a delivery timeframe. Deadline is locked in the platform.
Artist uploads a rough sketch. Buyer reviews and approves before final work begins. Gate.
Completed art is uploaded. Buyer reviews and approves the finished piece. Gate.
Artist packs and ships the piece, then uploads the verified tracking number into the platform.
Tracking upload triggers escrow release. Artist is paid automatically. No waiting on the buyer.
Buyer and artist rate each other. The platform also records objective timing and responsiveness data.
Transparent Pricing
Funds released to artist automatically upon verified tracking upload. No manual payout requests needed.
10% fee applied to both the buyer and the artist. Covers escrow holding, payment processing, tracking validation, and platform operations.
The higher of 10% or $5.00 per side. On commissions under $50, the flat $5 minimum applies — ensuring every transaction is viable regardless of price point.
Artists outside Stripe-supported countries receive payment via Wise, including direct PHP bank transfers via InstaPay for Philippine-based artists.
Full refund to buyer if artist fails to deliver. Partial refund policies apply for buyer-initiated cancellations after rough approval. Full terms at checkout.

Once the platform is live, registered buyers and artists will be able to look up active commission status, view approval history, and track shipment in real time.

Why Escrow
The sketch card commission market runs on reputation and goodwill. We're adding a structural layer underneath both.
Your money never reaches the artist until the work is approved and physically shipped. Ghosts and no-shows cannot take your deposit.
Funds are committed and held at the start. Once you ship with a verified tracking number, payment is automatic. No chasing buyers.
We validate tracking numbers against carrier APIs. Labels must be created after commission acceptance and ship to the buyer's registered address.
Beyond star ratings, the platform records approval response times and on-time delivery rates — building a verifiable reputation for both sides.
Filipino and other international artists paid via Wise with local bank transfer support. Geography shouldn't limit who can participate.
A registered Massachusetts LLC with documented operations, existing artist relationships, and a track record in the sketch card community.
